I’m doing it!
Wednesday, January 3rd, 2007Day 3 of 2007 and I’m running full steam ahead toward my marathon goal. I’m also doing well at keeping up with something I don’t usually do–stretching! I realize that stretching truly makes me feel better on subsequent runs, so I’ve tried to do it more often. I also discovered some fantastic stretches that I can’t believe I’d never done before–this great posterior thigh stretch and the soleus stretch. I don’t know what genius thought of using a table and chair to help stretch for exercise, but it is awesome, and really effective. Of course now I look like a fool at work because I’m standing up every five minutes to stretch–but it feels so good I don’t even care!
Any other New Year’s resolution success stories out there?

I’m having some luck with my resolution so far, even though I had to set a new timetable for myself.
Stretching is supposed to help prevent injuries too, so it’s good to hear that you are doing that.
