More motivation to keep your resolution
Sunday, January 7th, 2007This cool new site asks people to share their New Year’s resolutions and commit to donating money to charity if they don’t achieve the resolution. What a great motivator (especially if you commit to donating lots of money!), and a great way to ensure that you’ll be improving the world in some way, even if you don’t keep your resolution. Plus, they’ll send you an email in February to serve as a gentle reminder of your resolution. I encourage everyone to sign up at 31left today (only after posting your resolution here, of course ;))!
FutureMe.org is another cool site that lets you compose an email to yourself and schedule it to arrive at a specific date in the future. What a great way to check up on your future progress! You could send yourself monthly reminders to stick to your resolution, or send yourself an email in January 2008 and ask how you feel about having kept (or not kept…) your 2007 resolution. Pretty cool, huh?

Ha ha, I am just reading this and if I break my resolution, I will not be able to afford to donate money. See this article.
